I recently had great fun collaborating with Keith Beauvais and Gavin alexander on a couple of albums for Addictive Tracks. As an example, do have a listen to “Waiting for the Weekend” from the summer pop 3 album and the epic “Afterglow” from Uplifting Stories 4
I contributed half the tracks to this album fro Reliable Source Music. Click on the album picture to have a listen.
Above are some short films I did sound design and music for BBC bitesize all based around Medicine Through Time. The animation style is very Terry Gilliam and they are quite diverting to watch!
I’ve recently produced some more production music tracks for the Library of the Human Soul and The Swimming Pool (hosted by The Diner and Apollo Music)
I’m very proud to have composed the score and produced the sound mix for this independent feature. Currently doing the international film festival rounds the film has already been nominated for four awards at the Nice International Film Festival including best picture. Below is the teaser trailer.
I’m pleased to show off some more disparate production music tracks that have been released via several library labels. Epic future from Lovely Music has two tracks on it, “From Concept to Reality” and “Only the Brightest” I’ve produced 3 tracks for Evolution Media Music’s Retro Dark Synth Album, “Subversion” “Extra Life” and “Nightscape”. Lovely Music’s 60s Pop album has a real nostalgic mish mash of styles in the track “Stateside Surf Vibe”. Minim’s Music Box Magic contains the sweet little tune “Beddy Byes There are two tracks for No Sheet Music’s Emotive Strings Album, “Merlin’s Farewell” and “Memory Walk” Lastly there’s “Burning Heels” on Evolution Media Music’s Pursuit album.
After a bit of a wait, I’m pleased to say that Ronja the Robber’s daughter has now been released worldwide on Amazon Prime. It is a Studio Ghibli adaptation of the classic Astra Lindgren story and is the’r first ever TV series. My part in the production was to produce the Theme Song for the English Language version. This involved taking the previously released Japanese/Swedish theme tune and re-producing it along with new lyrics and some structural and chordal changes curtosy to Gavin Alexander and David Freedman. Singing duties were performed by 10 year old Lola Moxom who is now appearing the in hit musical “School of Rock”. Also my wife Karen plays the flute on it which is a nice bit of nepotism!
