High time to Phunk You Up
I snuck a little funk track into this new album from No Sheet Music. It’s called “Phunk You Up” and has a tight “Chic” feel to it with groovy Nile Rogers styles guitar and smooth Rhodes and brass.

I’ve recently been writing for the Library of the Human Soul. This new album is all about Fear. The album is the 14th out of a 50 album project designed to span the full depth the of human emotional experience. It features live strings from Vienna. I’ve contributed 2 tracks, “Satanic” and “Darkness” Upcoming albums include War, Excellence and Sex!
Recently I was pleased to find out that I had some tracks placements in the recently broadcast “What British Muslims Really Think” on channel 4 through production music company BroadcastComposers
In the summer I had great fun assisting fellow composer Sandy Nuttgens with the second series of the CBeebies show “Get Well Soon“. Here’s one of the songs below, a catchy tune demystifying at the Nasogastric Tube!
I’m very pleased to share the tracks below. I wrote a Christmassy sleigh-ride style library track a little while back and I thought it would be good for the youth orchestra that I conduct to perform at their Christmas concert. So I re-orchestrated it for live players back in September and it was performed last Friday. The fine young players did really well in the performance and did me proud.
Thank you Maidstone Youth Orchestra and have Merry Christmas one and all!
This was a really quick turnaround for a 90 minute channel 4 special. Just over two weeks, but it’s done and it’s going out hot off the press after the dub on Thursday the 29th!
